What Crème Does

Crème is a Chrome extension that scores and ranks your Likes on Tinder and Bumble using AI-powered compatibility analysis. It reads publicly visible profile information from dating app pages and evaluates them against your personal preferences.

What Data We Collect

Crème accesses the following data from dating app pages you visit:

• Profile information: Names, ages, bios, interests, prompts, job titles, education, lifestyle details, and profile photos — all publicly visible on the dating platform.
• Your preferences: Dealbreakers, priority traits, vibe descriptions, and red flag settings that you enter in the Crème sidebar.

How We Use Your Data

• AI scoring: Profile data is sent to our secure scoring API, which uses an AI model to generate compatibility scores. Profile data is not stored on our servers after scoring.
• Local caching: Scored results and your preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.
• No permanent server storage: We do not maintain a database of dating profiles.

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell, share, or rent any user data to third parties.
• We do not store dating profile information on our servers permanently.
• We do not track your browsing activity outside of Tinder and Bumble.
• We do not collect your dating app login credentials.
• We do not take any actions on dating platforms (no swiping, messaging, or profile changes).
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Crème uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI compatibility scores. Profile data sent to this API is processed according to Anthropic's privacy policy. No other third-party services receive your data.

Data Storage & Retention

• Browser local storage: Your preferences and cached scores are stored on your device. Clear this data anytime by removing the extension.
• Score cache expiry: Cached scores expire automatically after 1 hour.
• Server-side: No profile data is retained after scoring completes.

Permissions

• activeTab: To access the current Tinder or Bumble tab for profile scanning.
• storage: To save your preferences and cache scored results locally.
• sidePanel: To display the preferences setup sidebar.
• scripting: To inject the profile scanning script into dating app pages.

Crème only runs on tinder.com and bumble.com.

Children's Privacy

Crème is designed for use on dating platforms that require users to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
